Why do you need a specialized plate for Magnetic Switches?
Since magnetic switch keyboards use Hall-effect sensing technology, actuation precision depends heavily on the fixed relative position between the PCB and the plate. To ensure consistent triggering and avoid any structural shifting, the plate and PCB must be secured together using a standoff system.
For this reason, we include specialized standoffs and mounting screws with every plate. No extra purchase is necessary—it is ready to install right out of the box.
