The prototype Cherry G80-3077SAU is one of my favorite mechanical keyboards, and I love the great design. We recreated this 60% layout keyboard kit with reference to the shape of the G80-3077SAU.

Gasket Mount

The silicone material of the gasket can reduce the vibration and friction between the plate and the aluminum case. So as to make the percussion feel and sound more pleasant.

Design & Colors

OG60 is a retro design and excellent anodizing and electrostatic coating process. It uses high-quality aluminum alloy as raw material and is processed by CNC machine. The weight at the bottom is made of brass, and the surface is PVD black. Not only can increase the weight of the keyboard but also more beautiful.The pattern engraved on the weight is the pattern on traditional Chinese furniture, the cloud pattern, which symbolizes peace and auspiciousness.

Hot swap or solder PCB

The PCBs that provide soldering and Hot swap are using QMK firmware and can be edited via VIA.

Both soldered and hotswap PCBs are flex cut, using 1.2mm thickness PCB, the soldered PCB is currently available in stores, the model is dz60v2, Hotswap PCB is a newly manufactured PCB. Also supports multiple layout options, supports ISO and split backspace, stepped capslock, and more.

Weight design

The design of the weight refers to the design of 3077. The material we choose for the bottom is brass, the process for the surface is PVD electroplating black, and the pattern engraved on the surface is a cloud pattern. The pattern comes from the cloud pattern in traditional Chinese furniture carving, which means a symbol With good luck, peace. The pattern behind it also comes from the patterns on Chinese Ming Dynasty furniture.
